Leadership Community
There are a wide variety of opportunities for leadership in Bethesda's ministries. Boards and committees are one important piece of congregational leadership. The Elder Board meets on the first Tuesday of each month. The ministry committees typically meet on the third Tuesday of each month.
Elder Board
The Elder Board consists of the pastors and several laymen, who have been recognized as spiritual leaders by the elders and confirmed by the congregation. The elders are the lead ministry team and shepherds of the congregation, responsible for spiritual nurture, vision, and protection against false teaching.

Adult Ministry Committee
The Adult Ministry Committee oversees and supports a wide variety of ministries, while focusing on supporting and sustaining our Adult Bible Fellowships.

Children's Ministry Committee
The Children's Ministry Committee partners with the Children's Ministries staff to organize and oversee the various ministries to children from birth through 5th grade at Bethesda.
Members: Dawn Rico (Director), Karen Ratering (Assistant), Becky Hoage, Louise Kooiker, Mary Roesch, Ken Stangel, and Andy Johnson (Elder).
Deacon Committee
The Deacon Committee is a benevolence team that works hard to help people in need in our congregation and throughout our community. In addition, they prepare and serve communion.

Mission Committee
The Mission Committee helps our congregation stay in touch with the missionaries we support and sponsors an annual Mission Conference.

Trustee Committee
The Trustee Committee is responsible for managing the finances, facilities, and property of our congregation.
Members: Bob Johnson (Chair), Steve Baird, Orv Bierman, Charles Cedarblade, Tom Draper, Steve Fox, Don Heard, Lois Johnson, Jerry Kooiker, Carin Pardun, Cindy Tewalt (Treasurer), and Pastor Brian Quade.
Women's Ministry Committee
The Women's Ministry Committee seeks to support and encourage women in their faith. They sponsor several women's events throughout the year designed to reach out with the gospel, to help women connect with one another, and to offer spiritual encouragement.

Youth Ministry Committee
The Youth Ministry Committee partners with the Youth Ministries staff to organize and oversee ministry to students in grades 6-12 at Bethesda.
Members: Chad Shiffer (Director), Todd Waldie (MS Director), Rosie Fischer, Mark Reeves, Cindy Waller, and Jay Anderson (Elder).
Outreach Committee
