Camps and Retreats
Looking for a chance to get away? Hoping for a chance to have a good time, where you can also learn more about what it means to be a Christian and grow in your faith?
Bethesda Middle School Ministries sponsors an annual trip to summer camp at Inspiration Point Bible Camp ( www.ipoint.org) for middle school students. We also sponsor our own Winter Retreat at Camp Forest Springs, each winter. There are also a wide variety of events and activities throughout the year. |
|
| Winter Camp 2009 is scheduled for January 2-4, 2009 at Camp Forest Springs!
Todd Lenz, a science teacher at Altoona High School, will be our speaker, and our sessions will focus on questions that rattle our faith. It's a great opportunity for all 6th-8th graders!
Cost is $100/student.
| | | Camp Credit Quiet Time Journals are now available at the youth ministry bulletin boards (in the office wing or across from the youth room). Students who participate in the program can earn up to $100 toward their summer camp tuition at Inspiration Point Bible Camp! For more information please check out the camp credit links below.
Dates for Summer Camp will be announced in January or early February of 2009.
| | | Inspiration Point Bible Camp is a wonderful place in a beautiful setting with incredible programs designed for spiritual exploration and growth. Each summer we take many students to Inspiration Point Bible Camp for a week of great training and a lot of fun. To help families with the cost, all camp-age students through 8th grade can earn up to $100 toward camp tuition. Students in grades 6-8 can use the Quiet Time Journals we provide.
Click the "read more here" link for the current journal schedule (Quiet Time Journal 3- Purple). The previous journal's information is posted below, as well.
