The Adult Choir rehearses every week and is a part of the Sunday worship services about every three weeks. Christmas and Easter Concerts have been a tradition for many years and continue to be a special ministry to many.
Choir is a great place to use your singing voice to express worship as part of the body of Christ. It is a place where the use of one’s ability is not only fulfilling personally but assists others in worship. A history of previous choral singing, such as High School, college or church choirs, is very helpful but not a prerequisite. Ability to hear and hold harmony and pitch is necessary, however. While we don’t exactly audition for choir at this point it is appropriate to visit with the director before determining your involvement.
Choir has been a vital part of worship ministry at Bethesda over the years and singers are urged to be a part. Regular devotionals give opportunity for sharing and praying together. The choir does more than sing. It is a close knit group who enjoys unique fellowship as well as some social events throughout the year.
