Welcome! Thanks for visiting the webpage for Worship Ministries of Bethesda Lutheran Brethren Church! Worship at Bethesda is, in a very real sense, the fuel of all ministry. It includes everything that happens in the sanctuary where God calls members of the body of believers to use their gifts for the good of all. We seek to benefit from the rich heritage and culture of Bethesda while at the same time relating to the culture of the day. Therefore, we enjoy a wide variety of music both old and new. Our goal is to maintain a certain level of excellence while offering worship to God as a body through the talents of our people.

Aug 13 – How do we actually obey the command to “seek His presence continually“? (Ps 105:4) How do we encounter His presence? Isn’t He always present everywhere? Well, yes He is and it should be comforting as well as sobering to us. He is always present but sometimes we become more aware of if. It is a primary purpose of the Holy Spirit to manifest the presence of God. That’s where singing and reflecting on scripture and prayer are ways the Spirit can use to bring us to a place of awareness. I find it fascinating that in the scripture we often read how someone “presented themselves” to the Lord or “prepared to present themselves” to the Lord. I think they may have known something about His holiness and didn’t “seek His presence” lightly.
“Lord, help us to “present ourselves” humbly before you and experience your holy
presence in worship. Amen”
