I’m glad you're exploring our community! “Church” is so much more than a building, even more than programs and services. It’s about people. It’s about people connecting with, and caring for, each other. And, it’s about people being restored and growing into a close relationship with God. I’ve said many times, “Bethesda is a great bunch of people!” Now we certainly aren’t perfect, far from it. In fact, in a sense weakness is our common ground -- our need for God and each other is what brings us together. But I think quite soon one senses here that there is much honesty and goodness about this community. There is an esteem for God that translates into a love for His Word and a simple authenticity to worship. There is a belief that people matter and that our lives ought to matter, as we follow Christ and care for people near to us and around the world.
