Music Teams at Bethesda
At Bethesda, our contemporary services are led by our bands. They prepare and lead our community in songs, scriptures, and prayers that inspires us to respond to all that God does for us. We encourage musicians who are interested in joining worship team to contact Matt Hoage. While there's not a regular try-out, there are some requirements and considerations before joining a music team. Below are a list of the specific styles of the teams we have at Bethesda. (All teams consist of at least the following: acoustic guitar, electric guitar, keys/pads, male vocal, female vocal, bass guitar, and drums.)
eleéo - 10:45am Sunday mornings in Walker Hall (gym)
The inspiration for this band comes from artists and groups like David Crowder*Band, Desperation Band, Hillsong United, and newer Passion and Chris Tomlin.
Sanctuary - 10:30am Sunday mornings in our sanctuary
There are many Christian favorites from the past twenty years that are covered in this band, with artists like Michael W. Smith, Rich Mullins, Matt Redman, Jared Anderson, and others.
High School & Middle School Teams
There are a few bands consisting of students that work together on new music to lead music times for Sunday Night Youth Group and in the Sunday services regularly.
