Our Values

Bethesda High School Ministries (HSM) focus on the relevancy of faith in Jesus and what it means to live that out daily. Students will find the following opportunities within the HSM as they seek to learn more about what it means to follow Jesus in every area of life:

ONE23 - our name for Sunday Night Youth Group - based on our address and 1 Corinthians 1:23: "We proclaim Christ..."  Whether it's group mixers, worship music, inspiring messages, or just hanging out, young people here are gathered in a safe environment where they can develop their relationship with God and have a community to belong to. We meet every Sunday 7-8:30pm and are in a set of discussions based on the idea that being a Christ-follower changes everything. Please join us even if you're new!

Small Groups - a smaller community setting to investigate Jesus and go deep into meaningful issues that students deal with daily through Bible study, book study, prayer and connection with friends. Our Small Groups meet on Wed nights and are split into grade and gender. To find out more about Small Groups you can click here or email Mary Graaskamp.

Sunday Studies (Room 311) - 9am: Jonny Peterson, Chad Shiffer - "Bethesda Student Leadership Training"   10:30am: none at this time

Service Opportunities - we engage in a variety of service projects from local involvement to international aid. We do Rake-N-Run, Food Drive, 30Hour Famine, Stocking Stuffers, Operation Christmas Child (Shoeboxes), Touched Twice, and a Missions Trip.

Conferences, Retreats, and Trips - several are planned every year to allow students to build community with each other and faith in God.
